Soul Power System

The Soul Power System enables players to increase their battle power by soul injection.

Soul Power which is a specific numerical assessment of equipment’s value is affected by equipment quality (displayed in different colors: white equipment is the worst, red is the best, instance equipment is better than dark golden one) and equipment’s refining level (equipment without refining level is the worst, +9 refining level is the best), the upper limit of single equipment’s Soul Power is 100.

Enter the Upgrade panel, drag the target equipment and corresponding Soul Stones to the Upgrade slots and then you can start to inject soul, as shown below:


Some gold and a “Soul Stone” are required for soul injection, and the specific amount of gold depends on the equipment level. Soul Stones can only be dropped by Bosses in instances and only the team leader is qualified to obtain them. In addition, soul stones can also be purchased from Gem Stores. The following shows the soul injection process (The equipment is a Level 70 necklace)


Soul injection will not affect the equipment’s binding state but it may fail sometimes. The higher the equipment’s level is, the more Soul Stones are required for a successful soul injection. The Soul Stone will disappear if the soul injection fails but the equipment won’t suffer any losses, as shown below:

Each piece of equipment can only be injected soul once. The injected equipment’s soul power will be automatically updated when it’s refined. The default soul power of equipment without soul injection is 0 and the value will not change upon refining.

Total Soul Power has a direct impact on the equipment’s power and it will be displayed in the character panel. However, it only takes effect in the arena and outdoor loot. The player with higher Total Soul Power will gain attack bonuses, but the Total Soul Power doesn’t affect the character’s basic stats.

A: I am glad to know you finally noticed it… The Total Soul Power is the composite value of all equipment you have injected soul into. If you still have equipment without soul injection, the Total Soul Power will be very low. Thus, try to make all your equipment soul-injected and no Dragon Gold will be consumed. The higher your equipment’s Soul Power is, the higher the Total Soul Power will be. Currently, the highest Total Soul Power is 1000.

7. The Reason why the Total Soul Power doesn’t equal the accumulated Soul Power
Q: You are a liar! I have added up all my equipment’s Soul Power, but it doesn’t equal the Total Soul Power, why the Total Soul Power is lower by several hundreds.
A: Calm down, please. Look at your equipment, their levels are too low. What’s this? A level 20 dagger? Remember you are Level 60 now! The “Equipment applicability” is also a factor for calculating Total Soul Power. That is to say, if your equipment level is closer to your character level, your Total Soul Power will be higher, vice versa. Hurry up to change your equipment!
